Frankincense neglecta, or Boswellia neglecta resin, is a wild harvest by Fair Trade practice from the Ogaden region in Ethiopia. Frankincense neglecta masculine scent that is earthy and musty, not too unlike the scent of leather. It’s as though the balsamic notes of vanilla and amber fuse together with a refreshing, yet spicy accord; and there you have the scent of Frankincense neglecta. Some may even detect overtones of cumin. The Frankincense neglecta resin is quite complex, and utterly divine. Locally it works as an insect repellent, the gum is also useful in the treatment of gonorrhea. The bark is often used in tonics. Frankincense resin appears to offer certain health benefits from improved arthritis and digestion to reduced asthma and better oral health. It may even help fight certain types of cancer.
