Oil Summary: Organic virgin sunflower oil, is cold pressed from the seeds of the Sunflower. Sunflower Carrier Oil hydrates, softens, prevents moisture loss, defends against external damage, and facilitates the skin’s regeneration. Sunflower Oil slows the wrinkling process, reduces the appearance of enlarged pores. Sunflower oil is also highly absorbent and prevents clogging of pores and is considered a non-comedogenic carrier oil. It is non-irritant and can be used on almost all skin types. Sunflower oil is used for low-to-extremely-high-temperature cooking. As a frying oil, it behaves as a typical vegetable triglyceride. Sunflower oil is a traditional salad dressing in Eastern European cuisines Sunflower oil is also an ingredient in sunflower butter. This organic virgin Sunflower oil is high in oleic.
